First up is the BEE-utiful set that’s on everybody’s list….SWEET AS CAN BEE!!!

I created this adorable bee inspired card for the release.  I created the background using the Sweet As Can Bee Stamp Set, and used the heart from Kraftin Kimmie’s Bugs & Kisses Stamp Set.  I used the White, Black and Yellow color scheme as I thought it added to the Bees and still made the card pop with some fun color. This set is just too adorable.

Also we have released TWO NEW Krafty Kolours Hybrid Inks in YUMMY YELLOW and MARVELLOUS MOCHA!! So be sure to add them to your stash!

Today we are kickin’ off our JUNE Krafty Peeks at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!
We’ve got a super sweet stamp set to share with you today!
This one is from artist Becky Pearce and it’s called SWEET AS CAN BEE!

When the Krafty Kit arrived in the mail, I immediately had so many fun projects come to mind. I could hardly wait to play with this new adorable set. For my first project I created this BUZZ-Y Bee’s Gift Box.  I used my honeycomb embossing folder to create a honeycomb/hive like background and added color to it by sponging on the two new hybrid inks. I left the embellishments rather simple as these busy bee’s were just too adorable to hide. My favorite element of this box is the flying bees attached to the lid with some curled wire. They wiggle and wobble (almost like they are flying) when you shift the box around which gives the project some nice movement.

Here are some close ups of the box lid and alternating sides of some of the fabulous bee characters.

I created a very simple but fun card using Kraftin’ Kimmies stamp set Baby Love.

I made the background splatters using Pigment IZInk in Citronella, Cactus and Topaz. The sentiment banner was heat embossed with white. The Elephant image was colored using Copic markers and accompanied two adorable little birds from the same Baby Love stamp set.

I decided to join the Anything Goes Challenge through Kraftin’ Kimmie. I made a birthday gift tag using Dino-Mite Pals. I colored the image using copic markers. Adding a tie of twine to secure to any birthday gift for that dinosaur lover. I kept the tag rather simple and just played around with the various stamps from the Dino-Mite Pals set and had some fun.

For the fun of it I decided to create a rather simple Pirate Loot Bag using the Bootylicious stamp from Kraftin’ Kimmie. I colored the image using Copic Markers and adding them to a black background. I decided to make the image pop like a logo for the bag by adding some white rope and skull and cross bone sticker. These are nothing fancy but they were simple and fun to create for the Anything Goes Challenge.

I created this wonderful bright and fun Birthday card for someone who is a pilot and loves to fly. I also included it as for Kraftin’ Kimmie’s Make a Scene with Dots challenge. I used an adorable set called Sky’s the Limit and colored the image with colored pencils and my blending pen for a bit of a different look then my copics. I created a sky theme with some blue background paper and clouds that I dabbed lightly with a distress ink to add a bit of an off white color and texture. I embellished with some fun bright papers and enamel dots. I think this card turned out perfect and can not wait for it’s recipient to see it.
