This month I had the chance to be a Guest Designer and for this challenge I created a card. The above picture shows the outside made to look like a fairy door covered in green vines and gorgeous flowers. I used my wood grain stamp to create the door and colored using Pinkolicious stamp pad for a fun whimsical look.
As you open the door you will fall upon Rosie Fairy in her secret fairy garden. The background paper is from my stock of papers and the image is colored using Copics. I added that fairy sparking dust to her wings and a few places on the rose for some extra fun using Wink of Stella glitter pen.
Thanks for stopping by and I can not wait to see everyone’s creations. You can join the Kraftin’ Kimmie Facebook Group and play along with all the fun monthly challenges and enjoy the monthly release of all her wonderful and fun stamps. What can I say I am addicted to Kraftin’ Kimmie. Have a great week!
Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps has released another great line of summer/beach themed stamps that just went live on Saturday. I just love the Floatin’ Fiona stamp and all her sassy sentiments.
As a guest designer for June, I could not resist using the Floatin’ Fiona stamp to create another summer themed card. This time she is sporting a striped bathing suit and Life is Good! I just love the yellow as it feels so bright and summery to me. The image was colored with Copics using background papers from the Echo Park Paper Co Summer Party paper pad, as well as Doodlebug Design inc. Bunnyville paper pad before adding a few select embellishments to bring her to life.
Also, exciting news that Kraftin Kimmie Stamps has launched a brand new website and…to celebrate the new Krafty Shop, they’ve got gifts for YOU!!! EVERY order placed this weekend will receive a special little extra something in their package!!! Could be a stamp, maybe buttons, sequins, enamel dots, flowers, brads….who knows! Welcome to June’s sneak peeks. I wanted to capture the bright fun colors of summer and the beach while leaving Fiona as the main star, because she is just too cute to resist. The image was colored using Copics. The yellow designed background paper is from Echo Park Paper Co – Summer Party paper pad. I used an old piece of scrap paper that looks like a straw mat to really bring in the beach theme.
Below is the list of Krafty Girls who have a project to share with you featuring the new FLOATIN’ FIONA clear stamp set!

Here is my card featuring the Butterfly Dreams Clear Stamp set. I started with a simple embossed background of a leafy plant, bringing it out with some chalks. I then embellished the card by coloring a few butterflies and adding some glitter and shine to them before finishing it off with some complimentary sequins and sentiment.
